Description

TBDT-N was developed based on our sound modeling technology – “Dual Tone modeling technology”. This allows you to get 2 full-fledged sounds from one pickup, changed using Mini Switch or Push-Pull. TBDT-N can be connected in Single coil mode or Humbucker mode. Both modes are noiseless!

The transducer is equipped with a shielded 4-wire cable, which allows to obtain all possible modes of operation.

    I bought this and i have another tele with a gibson 57 RI to compare with, all else is same. what the description says about open mids is right. gibson's upper mids make it sound more nasal to my ears, but then again, that's the sound that's been around for about 70 years so it has kind of established itself as such. take it or leave it. anyways, telebucker is way more versatile IMO. you can get the jazz sound like Bickert, Mike Stern or any other tele-jazzer, but even go to single coil territory, no problem. i have a telebucker bridge pickup in the same guitar (and a middle pickup that's hidden underneath the pickguard) and this is probably my most versatile guitar.
