APG Stratocaster pickups are part of the STRATOBUCKER™ line, designed for players who want to retain the character of a classic Stratocaster while gaining increased dynamics, selectivity and noiseless operation.

STRATOBUCKER™ was developed as an alternative to the traditional single coil. Based on a rails mini humbucker design, it was created to stay as close as possible to the character of a classic Stratocaster pickup while eliminating the typical noise associated with single coils. APG has been developing the STRATOBUCKER™ design since 2011.

The range includes STRATOBUCKER™ CLASSIC, STRATOBUCKER™ 500 and DUAL TONE models. DUAL TONE provides two distinct sounds from one pickup – humbucker and single coil – while maintaining noiseless operation.

The STRATOBUCKER™ CLASSIC PLUS SET allows players to replace a traditional S-S-S setup with an H-S-S configuration without physically modifying the guitar, combining a fuller humbucker sound at the bridge with dynamic single coil sounds in the middle and neck positions.
