The history of STRATOBUCKER™ dates back to 2011, when APG began developing a noiseless Strat pickup based on a rails mini humbucker design. The goal was to achieve a sound as close as possible to the original Single Coil while eliminating the typical noise associated with it.

The range includes STRATOBUCKER™ CLASSIC, STRATOBUCKER™ 500 and DUAL TONE models. DUAL TONE provides two full-fledged pickup modes – Humbucker and Single Coil – from a single pickup while maintaining noiseless operation.
